Job Description – EHS Manager

SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional specializing in airport construction. The ideal candidate will hold strong safety credentials such as OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, ASP, GSP, CSP, CHST, STSC, or equivalent, and possess proven experience managing safety programs on complex construction projects.

This role will support the Construction Manager overseeing an airport project. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance for all project operations
• Conduct and document daily EHS inspections
• Deliver site-specific project safety orientations
• Assist with coordinating crane and lifting activities
• Participate in Daily Hazard Analysis (DHA) processes
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and develop corrective actions
• Partner with project leadership to promote an injury-free workplace
• Collect and evaluate safety metrics (leading/lagging indicators) to identify trends
• Review EHS plans and assist with developing new safety procedures as needed
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with all EHS requirements
• Confirm craft workers are fully trained for assigned tasks
• Collaborate closely with trade contractor EHS teams and support the project safety leadership group
• Act as liaison with the client’s risk management team
• Deliver EHS training modules and support a positive reinforcement safety program
