SAVI EHS is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead safety on a large-scale Sterling, VA construction project. You will report to the Construction Manager and drive site-wide compliance, training, and high-risk operations oversight across all trade partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction EHS, OSHA 500/510 certification, and strong leadership and communication skills to foster a proactive safety culture on site. Per diem support applies for qualified travelers.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct and document daily EHS inspections and audits
• Deliver site-specific orientations and safety training
• Support crane activities and other high-risk operations
• Participate in and review DHAs, JHAs, and pre-task planning
• Investigate incidents and support corrective and preventive actions
• Partner with project leadership to promote a proactive safety culture
• Ensure subcontractors and trade partners comply with OSHA requirements
• Assist with development and implementation of EHS plans and site safety initiatives
• Identify field hazards and coordinate corrective actions with project teams

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

SAVI EHS is actively seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support a large-scale construction project in Sterling, Virginia. This individual will work closely with the Construction Manager and project leadership team to oversee site-wide safety compliance and promote a proactive safety culture across all trade partners.

The ideal candidate will have strong construction safety experience, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage field safety activities, orientations, training, and high-risk operations.

Location:

Herndon, VA (On-site)

Compensation:

• $45.00–$50.00/hour
• $1,000/week per diem for qualified travelers
• Full-Time | W-2 Position

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance across the project
• Conduct and document daily EHS inspections and audits
• Deliver site-specific orientations and safety training
• Support crane activities and other high-risk operations

• Assist with the development and implementation of EHS plans, procedures, and site safety initiatives
• Identify field hazards and coordinate timely corrective actions with project teams

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of construction EHS experience
• Data center or other large-scale/mission-critical construction experience strongly preferred
• OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification required
• CHST, STS-C, ASP, CSP, or equivalent credentials preferred
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and field safety management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety platforms
• Ability to work effectively with project leadership, subcontractors, and trade partners
