Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering in Greenville, SC seeks a Department Manager for Environmental Investigation & Remediation. This senior role leads site investigations, remediation, and UST/AST compliance across multiple states, interfacing with clients, regulators, and corporate leadership to drive growth and excellence.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in environmental consulting, strong project leadership, and regulatory knowledge, with a preference for PE/PG/CHMM credentials and a master’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 10+ years in geotechnical/environmental consulting with leadership and PM experience.
• 3+ years team leadership or management in a consulting or corporate setting.
• Professional registration preferred (PE/PG/CHMM).
• Strong knowledge of federal/state environmental regs and UST programs.
• Experience with multi-state regulatory environments and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Environmental Investigation & Remediation department.
• Oversee site investigations, remediation projects, and UST/AST compliance.
• Direct P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the department.
• Mentor staff, set performance goals, and foster accountability.
• Interface with clients and regulators to support compliance and growth.
• Develop strategies for profitability, resource utilization, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with COO and cross-functional teams on proposals and delivery.
• Plan staffing, recruitment, and professional development.
