Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Greenville, SC seeks an Environmental Senior Project Manager to lead project teams delivering environmental assessments, subsurface investigations, remediation, and permitting for real estate, manufacturing, public sector, and waste management clients.

You will oversee proposals, budgets, staff, and client relationships, ensuring technical excellence and compliance while driving business development.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting with 10+ years in project management.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or equivalent; Master's preferred.
• P.E. license or Professional Geologist (PG) licensure.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, Clean Water Act).
• Experience with site assessments, remediation, data interpretation, and client communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects from initiation to completion, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide senior technical direction and QA for assessments, remediation, and permitting.
• Develop proposals, budgets, and manage financial performance for projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, laboratories, and regulatory agencies at all levels.
• Mentor and supervise technical staff and conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Drive business development and contribute to strategic growth in Environmental Practice.
