Air Charter Service in Houston is seeking a driven Trainee Broker to grow a high-value client base. You will research prospects, make outbound calls and visits, and convert opportunities into charter bookings with expert guidance from senior brokers.

Learn the aircraft charter process, build relationships with cargo operators, and work toward targets while enjoying award-winning training, a modern office, flexible hours, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Build your list of potential customers via research and outreach.
• Proactively contact prospects through calls, emails, and visits.
• Develop relationships with cargo operators to access a wide range of aircraft.
• Maintain ongoing relationships to secure repeat business.
• Work toward sales targets and meet financial goals.
• Demonstrate understanding of aircraft and chartering processes.
• Manage charter bookings from enquiry to completion.
• Handle inbound urgent charter requests 24/7.
• Present bespoke quotes with strong commercial sense.
• Monitor departures and flight watches (may require late hours).

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Building your list of potential customers by researching our database, websites, LinkedIn, and trade press etc
• Pro-actively targeting your list through outbound sales calls, emails, and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them from potential customers to ACS customers
• Building relationships with Cargo Operators to ensure access to the widest range of aircraft available to provide solutions for our customers
• Maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
• Working towards sales targets and meeting financial objectives
• Ability to demonstrate expert understanding of the aircraft and chartering process
• Manage charter bookings from enquiry to completion
• Receiving inbound requests for urgent charters virtually 24/7
• Present bespoke quotes to customers and demonstrating good commercial acumen
• Flight watching/overseeing flight departures (this might be unsociable hours)
