Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Irving, TX seeks a detail‑oriented Customs Entry Clerk to review documentation for compliance, perform data entry in our customs system, and coordinate with clients to obtain missing documents. You will verify data, prepare declarations, and support customer service via calls and emails.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, 2 years of heavy data entry, and 2–3 years in freight forwarding or related customs work.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or GED required.
• At least 2 years of heavy data entry experience.
• 2-3 years in freight forwarding or customs clearance support.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices, manifests, and supporting docs for conformity with Customs regulations and policies.
• Enter commercial data into Customs operating system.
• Obtain missing documentation from clients as required.
• Verify documentation for entry and rating compliance.
• Prepare and submit Customs Declarations/Entries to US Customs.
• Provide customer service via telephone and email.
• Create and submit entry data reports to management and clients.

• Reviews invoices, manifests, and other supporting documentation for conformance with Customs regulations and corporate policies.
• Data entry of commercial information into Customs operating system.
• Obtains necessary or missing documentation by contacting the client when required.
• Verifies documentation for entry and rating compliance.
• Prepares and submits Customs Declarations/Entries to US Customs.
• Provides customer service and assistance via telephone and email as required.
• Creates and submits entry data reports to management and clients.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to use vision, adjust focus, and work on a standard computer screen
• May require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment
• Regular and punctual attendance and on-site presence at the assigned work location
