Trinity Heads, Inc. in Navasota, TX, is seeking an Entry Welder to join our manufacturing team. The role involves applying welding processes to join, surface, fabricate and repair metal parts according to layouts, blueprints and sketches.

You will inspect finished work and adhere to all safety practices while operating manual and semi-automatic welding equipment. The ideal candidate will have welding certification or near completion, up to 6 months of experience, and strong communication skills.

Description

Trinity Heads, Inc. is hiring an Entry Welder at our Navasota plant. Our products are an

What you’ll Do

• Applies appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics and sketches using manual, automatic welding and/or semi-automatic welding equipment. May lay out and mark weld points on parts or subassemblies. May position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools. May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications. Observes all standard safety practices and maintains and completes all required records. Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Qualifies as flat and horizontal welder
• SMAW (wire: 1G & 2G)
• Hand weld in all positions, fillet and groove
• Perform other duties as assigned
