Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Career Welder at our Fort Worth, TX plant. You will hand weld in all positions, perform repairs, oxy-fuel welding, carbon arc welding, and conduct NDE tests while following blueprints and safety rules.

This role requires a minimum of 1 year welding experience, MIG and FCAW proficiency, and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces. Trinity offers PTO, holidays, 401(k) with match, health and welfare coverages.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with MIG and FCAW is required.
• FCAW (2G, 3G & 4G).
• Ability to weld out of position (vertical & overhead).
• May require working above ground (15 ft or more).
• Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects and comfortable with heights.
• May require working in narrow or confined workspace for extended periods of time.

As a Welder at Trinity, you’ll apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual, automatic welding, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment. You will use jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders and uses manual/semi-automatic/automatic welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials. Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and performs minor maintenance to equipment.
