Job summary

Wabash is seeking qualified Welders to join our manufacturing teams in Indiana. You will perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, read engineering prints, and follow work instructions to meet safety and quality standards.

Wabash provides in-house Weld School if needed, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Welding experience is a plus, not required.
• Must pass weld tests for product line before production.
• Must pass respirator fit test.
• Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal skills.
• Capable of reading and following engineering prints and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Weld carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel to quality standards.
• Read engineering prints and weld symbols and follow specifications.
• Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
• Work in tight spaces and at heights up to 20 ft.
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety policies and practices.
