Job summary

RTX Corporation in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry‑level Systems Engineer II, Signal Processing, to help test, verify, and validate RF or EO/IR models and signal processing algorithms in lab environments and to integrate them into tactical system hardware and software.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related STEM field, plus MATLAB or Python scripting and C/C++ experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM major by start date.
• Experience developing scripts with MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets.
• Experience with the C or C++ programming languages.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in engineering lab environments to test, verify, and validate RF or EO/IR models and signal processing algorithm performance in accordance with requirements.
• Integrate algorithms into tactical system hardware and software and evaluate their functionality and impact.
• Develop documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
