Job summary

Vail Resorts in Colorado is hiring for Winter Seasonal Ski Patrol positions for the 2026/2027 season. You will promote guest safety, assist injured guests on the mountain, and maintain trails and safety materials in a high alpine environment.

Qualified applicants must be an expert alpine skier, fluent in English, with a current Colorado EMT certification or higher, and excellent guest service skills. Multiple full-time and part-time shift options are available; wage starts at $21.51–$25.30 per

Responsible for promoting the safety and security of staff and guests on the mountain, Ski Patrol are alert and dependable professionals focused on promoting safety with the ability to remain calm in a crisis when incidents arise.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $21.51/hr - $25.30/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

Job Requirements

• Pass resort Ski Patrol sponsored ski test
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must have excellent guest service skills
• Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment
• Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment
• Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions
• Must be an EXPERT ALPINE SKIER
• Must have a Current Colorado EMT certification or higher level.

The expected pay range is $21.51/hr - $25.30/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
