Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Press Brake Operator I to set up and operate metal bending machines in alignment with quality and productivity standards. The role requires detecting defects, performing inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will read safety rules and blueprints, perform basic math, and demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and attendance policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read safety rules, blueprints, memos and simple instructions.
• Knowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines according to quality/quantity standards.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer.
• Perform quality inspections per quality documentation and control plan.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow prescribed safety procedures.
• Identify material types (Aluminum, 5000 series Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, etc.) and uphold site efficiency standards.
