Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in the United States is seeking an entry-level helper to assist skilled craftspersons on construction sites. You will learn to use hand and power tools, measure, cut, assemble and align machinery under supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be able to follow instructions, and work in varied outdoor conditions with potential overtime. Training will cover safety and equipment handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Field experience in a craft discipline is a plus.
• Knowledge of safe use of hand/power tools and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn to use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery and install items.
• Assist with reviewing inventory and prepare foundations for machinery placement.
• Support skilled craftspeople with rigging, testing and adjustments of equipment.
• Assist with dismantling machines and moving equipment on site.
• Assist with assembly and installation of equipment according to project specs.
