Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Louisiana is seeking an experienced millwright to plan, lay-out, install and align equipment and machinery on a busy job site. You will work with hand and power tools, measure and align components, and ensure foundations and grout are prepared to plan specifications.

The role requires reading drawings, following written and oral instructions, and coordinating with supervision to maintain safety and productivity on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Strong communication with supervision and team members.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and reliability on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, diagram and lay-out for millwright's work.
• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble and align machinery and install components.
• Verify inventory and foundations; prepare for grout and machinery placement; establish elevations and alignments.
• Torque, rig, test, and adjust installed machinery and equipment.
• Dismantle, move, and reassemble machinery as required; install and align on foundations.
