Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables is seeking an entry-level Wind Technician for the TOP Wind Service Technician program. The role focuses on safe maintenance, basic installations, and documenting work at wind sites near home, with extensive on-site training through GWO accreditation.

Report to Program Manager and Site Manager; travel up to 25% may be required. Full-time employment with comprehensive safety and technical training provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• Legal to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass background check and drug screen
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in technical/mechanical field
• Mechanical or electrical background beneficial

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
