Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education preferred.
• Strong mechanical background, specifically gearing-related.
• 1–2 years in wind energy or related industry (preferred).
• Familiarity with Microsoft products and related software.
• Experience with power plant operations and wind turbine maintenance (preferred).
• Ability to pass background and drug test; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wind turbines and wind plant equipment including substation and tower switchgear.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and communicate or implement improvements.
• Assess safety risks and recommend mitigations to staff and management.
• Maintain documentation using service reporting tools.
• Coordinate with EDPR NA Remote Operations Center for remote operations when needed.
• Complete required training and participate in on-site training.
