Qualifications

• Entry-level welding experience or formal training preferred.
• Weld Training Program completion and AWS GMAW-P certification required to D14.0.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to access and interpret digital work instructions.
• Safety‑driven, team‑oriented problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Complete weldments in various positions according to blueprints and welding procedure specifications.
• Prepare, position, and align components using fixtures; bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts.
• Safely operate an oxyfuel cutting torch for preheating and perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions; apply decimal-based measurements.
• Access digital drawings and work instructions via computer systems to support accurate weld execution.
• Identify welding defects and participate in root cause analysis to maintain quality.
• Support 5S and workplace organization goals.
