Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Formal electrical schooling/training preferred.
  • Ability to obtain State required certifications within specified timelines.
  • Ability to obtain CDL with tanker endorsement within 24 months.
  • Must pass safety trainings and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Observes safety rules and procedures.
  • Operates tools to repair and maintain water and wastewater systems.
  • Conducts preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Monitors pumps and related equipment for operability.
  • Repairs equipment including HVAC units, generators, pumps, and more.
  • Maintains and repairs backflow devices and valves.
  • Identifies alarms via SCADA/Telemetry and responds as needed.
  • Performs general housekeeping and supports field crews.
  • Reports sanitary sewer overflows to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
