Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Dallas, TX office. You will work on municipal water and wastewater projects, developing design skills in pipelines, pumping stations, treatment facilities, and distribution systems under supervision of experienced engineers.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree and are new graduates or have up to 1 year of experience. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• 0–1 years of experience in engineering or related fields (internship preferred).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software is preferred.
• EIT certification (or ability to obtain within one year) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, distribution and collection systems, pump and lift stations, and treatment facilities.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with hydraulic analysis and modeling.
• Assist with preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform field investigations, data collection, site visits, and construction observations.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines throughout project development.
• Assist with construction-phase services, including review of submittals and responses to contractor questions.
• Support project teams in delivering high-quality projects for municipal clients.
