Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge and water treatment systems at our refinery/industrial facility. The role involves handling dewatering, testing equipment, and ensuring adherence to customer specifications.

You will learn to operate pumps, centrifuges, engines and control devices, while maintaining safety and quality targets. A strong team orientation and willingness to take on new responsibilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Must demonstrate ability to use computer programs for process control
• TWIC Card or ability to obtain one
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment to purify water to customer specs
• Learn and independently operate pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves, gates, mixers and related equipment
• Work effectively in a team and willingly assume new responsibilities
• Be available for rotational 24-hour emergency on-call if required by site
