Job summary

Freese and Nichols is seeking an entry-level Engineer I in Denver, CO to begin their engineering career. You will work with experienced engineers, receive feedback and mentorship, and pursue EIT/EI and PE licensure as you contribute to water transmission, utilities, stormwater, and water/wastewater master planning projects.

Responsibilities include designing plans, supporting hydraulic analyses, building models, visiting project sites, and gradually taking ownership of deliverables while growing

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resource Engineering.
• Preferred internship experience.
• Student organization involvement, especially leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop design plans, support hydraulic calculations and drainage studies, analyze data, build models, and help prepare technical reports and construction documents.
• Build and review models using industry-standard engineering software.
• Visit project sites and see how designs move from plans to reality.
• Gradually take ownership of portions of real project deliverables.
