Felsburg Holt & Ullevig, Inc. is seeking an entrepreneurial, self-starting water resources engineer to join our Denver South team. The ideal candidate has 0–5 years of experience and a degree in civil engineering with a focus on water resources.

Master’s degree is a plus. The role involves diverse projects from hydrology and hydraulics for transportation to standalone efforts like stream restoration and floodplain analysis.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on water resources.
• Engineering Intern Certification is required.
• 0-2 years of experience in water resources design and stormwater quality design is preferred.
• Experience with hydrology/hydraulic modeling software is desired.

Mansioni

• Design roadway drainage including hydrology and hydraulics for projects with ditches, curb and gutter, and storm sewer systems.
• Perform stormwater quality and detention design per CDOT and MHFD guidelines; comply with MS4 permits.
• Conduct bridge and culvert hydraulic analysis and scour protection design.
• Perform floodplain analysis using HEC-RAS (1D/2D) and assist with FEMA-related filings.
• Prepare design documents, plans, profiles, and quantity takeoffs.
• Support construction through submittal reviews, RFIs, and field visits.
• Assist in scope, budget, and scheduling for projects and proposals.
