Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group seeks an entry-level Water Resources Engineer in Orlando, FL. You will develop hydrologic and hydraulic models and assist with drainage design, cost estimates, and technical reports. The role requires an ABET-accredited civil engineering degree and 0–2 years of related experience; EI/EIT preferred.

CAD/drafting skills and GIS familiarity are a plus. You will work with the Water Resources Team, gain mentorship, and participate in multiple project types across stormwater, FEMA

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree (B.S. or M.S.) with focus in water resources.
• 0-2 years of related technical experience.
• EI or EIT registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops hydrologic and hydraulic models for planning and design of stormwater facilities and drainage projects.
• Performs data analysis and processing using ArcGIS.
• Assist in drainage design including storm drains, ponds, culverts, and bridge hydraulics.
• Prepare cost estimates, technical reports, and memorandums.
• Coordinate with engineers and support staff as needed.
• Ensure quality checks on computations and drawings.
