Job summary

AAA in Los Angeles seeks a Vehicle Registration Specialist 1, an entry-level role in the DMV Centralization Unit. You will support the DCU with clerical tasks, prepare deposits, run reports, and help maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School GED, basic computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Internet), and the ability to work in a team. Training occurs onsite and offsite; occasional travel is possible.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• <1 year administrative/clerical experience preferred.
• <1 year branch office experience preferred.
• General typing and basic computer skills required.
• Ability to complete Computer Based Training courses.
• Teamwork capability required.
• Knowledge of DMV procedures preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain filing and review DMV reports; print and verify reports daily.
• Perform administrative functions for DCU including bookkeeping and deposits; verify deposits and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop cross-functional knowledge through training and offsite DMV trainings in CA branches.
• Handle mail distribution, receiving/shipping, and other duties as assigned.
