Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer Trainee in Wisconsin. This full-time, non-exempt position offers hourly pay and requires physical stamina, ability to work at heights, and a willingness to learn tree care operations.

Responsibilities include trimming, operating equipment, feeding debris into a woodchipper, and assisting in training new staff. A high school diploma is preferred; pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb and work from ladders or varying heights on uneven surfaces in demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, or trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Load/unload trucks and feed brush into woodchipper.
• Relay hand signals, direct traffic, drive and operate trucks as assigned.
• Keep trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Assist in training new employees.
