Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer Trainee in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This full-time, non-exempt role trains in trimming and removing trees, operating tools and equipment, and supporting crews in field duties to maintain safety and efficiency.

You will learn to load/unload trucks, feed debris into chippers, and assist in training new employees, with emphasis on safety and adherence to company policies and procedures. Compensation is hourly and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Previous tree-trimming experience is a plus.
• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service tools and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks; feed debris into a woodchipper.
• Set up barriers and ensure safety for workers and the public.
• Assist in training new employees and supervise as needed.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs when necessary.
