Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Boonton, New Jersey, is seeking a Climber I to join our tree care team. This entry-level role performs pruning, cabling, bracing, and removals, supporting the crew on site.

You will work outdoors in varied weather, operate basic equipment with proper PPE, and follow safety protocols to protect people and property. A strong work ethic and ability to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in arboriculture or tree care preferred.
• Ability to read instructions and follow safety rules.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to become EHAP, First-Aid and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree care tasks including pruning and limb removal up to 60 feet.
• Safely access trees and move in canopy per safety protocols.
• Operate chippers, trucks, blowers and chainsaws.
• Use PPE and maintain a safe work area.
• Communicate with climbers and public around work zone.
