Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking an entry-level Grounds Person Tree Care I to support pruning and removal operations. You will assist with ground-level tasks, clear brush, chip branches, and manage debris disposal in outdoor settings.

You will learn safe operation of basic equipment, use common hand tools, and follow company safety protocols to protect yourself and teammates on site.

Qualifications

• Follow established safety procedures and directions for roping and rigging, routine maintenance, and equipment reporting.
• Perform basic math for measurements and estimates used in arboricultural work.
• Communicate clearly with climbers and crew using standardized signals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ground-level tree care tasks in pruning, removal, and maintenance.
• Operate light powered equipment safely (woodchippers, trucks, blowers) with supervision.
• Use hand tools (saws, pruners, rakes, shovels) safely to complete tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work site and manage debris disposal.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and protect the work zone at all times.
