Fehr & Peers is seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer or Planner to build a strong foundation under experienced staff. You'll work across transportation planning, engineering, and design tasks and gain hands-on experience with a range of projects.

You’ll participate in on-the-job training, client meetings, and deliverables while developing skills in software and public-engagement activities. A clear path toward increasing responsibility is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or in-progress Master’s in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or a related field.
• An EIT is preferred for engineering candidates.
• Experience or exposure to transportation topics and tools listed in the ad.
• Proficiency with technical writing and public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct transportation analysis and prepare reports, memos, and other technical deliverables.
• Participate in meetings, including preparing presentations and public outreach materials.
• Support project coordination and management activities.
• Engage with professional organizations and industry activities.
• Conduct site visits and collect field data.
• Explore opportunities to contribute to internal R&D program.
• Learn and adopt new tools and technologies while maintaining professional judgment.
