Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking an Entry-Level Traffic Engineer to join its transportation team in Bedford, NH.

The role offers hands-on experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, and roadway design while collaborating with seasoned professionals on meaningful infrastructure projects. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited university.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year preferred.
Internship or co-op experience in transportation or traffic engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with traffic impact studies, traffic operations analyses, and transportation planning projects.
Collect, review, and analyze traffic data including counts, speed studies, and crash data.
Support design and evaluation of traffic signals, signing, pavement markings, and roadway safety improvements.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and project documentation.
Assist with traffic modeling and simulation using industry-standard software.
Participate in field investigations and site visits to evaluate existing traffic conditions.
