Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Test Solutions team in Tewksbury/Andover, MA. This on-site role offers hands-on design and integration of state-of-the-art test systems, collaborating with engineers to meet performance goals.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, up to 2 years of experience, and the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM discipline and less than 2 years of prior experience.
• Relevant internship or industry experience in RF/Microwave, Analog/Digital Electronics, Circuit Design, Power Electronics, VHDL, FPGA, DSP, or PCB design.
• Experience operating laboratory test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, generators, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzers) to test hardware.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems within a multidisciplinary team.
• Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
• Develop engineering and production test systems that align with cost and schedule goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during development and implementation phases.
• Utilize oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation.
• Collaborate independently or as part of a team to resolve test product challenges.
