Job summary

AutoNation is hiring an Express Service Technician to perform vehicle maintenance per dealership and factory standards, ensuring a safe, reliable vehicle for customers. You will communicate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to keep production on track and document work on each repair order.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Valid in-state driver's license and driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy per dealer and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Stay updated on factory bulletins and participate in factory training as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Performing vehicle maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
