Job summary

AutoNation is hiring an Express Service Technician to perform vehicle maintenance per dealer and factory standards, building trust and ensuring safety and reliability. The role emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and ongoing training with OEM certification support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in express/quick lube environments preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance as outlined on repair orders to drive customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communications.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Stay updated with factory bulletins and participate in training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license

• A passion for cars and customer service

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Performing vehicle maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.

• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.

• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.

• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.

• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty

What are the requirements for this job?

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience as an express/quick lube technician is preferred

• Attention to detail

• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety

• Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
