Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Express Service Technician to perform vehicle maintenance per dealer and factory standards while building trust with customers and ensuring confidence in AutoNation as a care-giver for their vehicle safety and reliability. You will communicate with Parts and Service Advisors, document work on the repair order, stay current with factory bulletins, and participate in OEM training.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as express/quick lube technician preferred.
• Attention to detail and safety oriented.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Performing vehicle maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
