Omega Technical Services, Inc. is hiring a Technical Project Manager 1 to support risk management for capital asset projects in Richland, WA. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with some home days and mentorship from senior risk professionals.

The position focuses on learning risk management practices aligned with DOE/G 413.3-7A and DOE project processes, with initial routine tasks and increasing responsibility as skills develop.

Qualificações

• Basic understanding of project management concepts across scope, cost, schedule and deliverables.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with identifying and documenting risks that could affect project scope, cost, schedule, or technical performance.
• Draft risk statements with owners and project team, including causes and assumptions.
• Update and maintain risk registers with owners, probabilities, impacts, and due dates.
• Participate in risk review meetings and follow up on actions.
• Learn Monte Carlo methods and risk analysis basics under guidance.
• Support the capital asset lifecycle and cost/schedule risk analysis.
