Banda Group International is seeking a junior Technical Project Manager to learn risk management for capital asset projects under DOE guidelines. The role emphasizes documentation, routine risk assessments, and mentorship while supporting senior staff.

Based in Richland, WA with potential hybrid work, the position develops fundamentals in Monte Carlo analysis, risk reporting, and project controls across multidisciplinary teams in a government-related environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, PM, business, math or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical CAD and engineering principles.
• Experience with Creo 3D CAD and PDMLink PLM.
• Experience checking 3D CAD models and MBD.
• Proficiency in GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14 standards.
• Experience with fabrication, inspection, assembly, and testing.
• Experience with configuration management and release workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
• Ability to resolve complex technical problems and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with identifying and documenting risks affecting scope, cost, schedule, or tech performance.
• Draft risk statements with causes, consequences, and assumptions.
• Update and maintain risk registers with owners and due dates.
• Participate in risk review meetings and document outcomes.
• Learn risk probability assessment using established criteria and guidance.
• Understand project lifecycle and how risk management supports planning and closeout.
• Learn cost and schedule risk analysis including Monte Carlo concepts.
• Gather inputs, run risk models under guidance, and document results.
• Prepare routine risk summaries and reporting materials.
• Identify missing information and escalate risk exposure to senior staff.
• Collaborate with project managers, controls staff, engineers to support risk documentation.
