Job summary

RTX, Space & Airborne Center in Goleta, California, is seeking a Systems Engineer for the Life Cycle Center. This onsite role supports integration and test activities, develops CONOPS, system architecture, and manages qualification and verification across the product lifecycle.

You will interact with customers, collaborate across engineering teams, and provide technical guidance for IS IPTLs while supporting depot and sustainment efforts. A STEM degree and hands-on lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) by start date.
• Experience with MATLAB or Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics with common test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or Troubleshoot Test activities.
• Travel may be required for support.
• Support qualification of products.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain engineering specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate engineering meetings and document outcomes.
