The Space & Airborne Center within Systems Engineering Integration & Test seeks talented Systems Engineers. Our Space & Airborne team located integrate hardware and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, and verify system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. Every day there is a different set of challenges to overcome. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partners to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts. As a Systems Engineer in the life cycle center within the Space & Airborne Center, you will interface with the customers to develop CONOPS, system architecture, system requirements and manage qualification, verification and validation. Our center focuses on back-end sustainment and repair design and sustainment development as well as transitioning systems through integration and test from production to warranty/sustainment. You will also perform functional / physical analysis, allocation, and trade studies.
After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Engineering and Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle.
