Job summary

Peraton, a leading national security company, seeks an entry-level Systems Administrator to support engineering, deployment, operations, upgrades, and sustainment of critical products and services for our clients' global missions.

This role requires shift work to cover 24x7 operations and an active TS/SCI clearance with poly eligibility. Contingent on contract award, the position offers a competitive salary within the posted range.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a poly.
• Bachelor's degree or minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management.
• Detail oriented and capable of rapid learning.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Current CISSP or Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user technical support to all clients.
• Support computers and network equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, service PCs and network gear.
• Perform basic system administrator tasks such as user creation and password resets.
• Escalate issues per SLAs.
• Maintain network diagrams and trouble logs.
• Advise on software/hardware purchases based on user needs.
• Perform basic PC, PBX, and network software programming.
• Maintain equipment and conduct testing.
• Troubleshoot to resolve issues and root causes.
• Assess user experience and propose enhancements.
• Support development, testing, and user documentation processes.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
