Job summary

Peraton in Herndon, VA seeks a Systems Administrator Advisor (Shift 2) to join a 24x7 operations team supporting a national intelligence program. The role requires TS/SCI with poly and hands-on Windows/Linux administration, end-user support, and infra troubleshooting.

The position is contingent on contract award and offers exposure to engineering, deployment, and sustainment of critical IT services across the client’s global missions.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass Poly.
• Minimum education: BS/BA with 8 years, MS/MA with 6 years, PhD with 3 years.
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS; CISSP or Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user technical support to all clients.
• Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair PCs and network equipment.
• Perform basic system administrator tasks such as user creation and password resets.
• Escalate issues per SLAs and maintain logs.
• Maintain network diagrams and incident records; assist with purchases.
• Support development, implementation and testing processes.
