Qualifications

• Maintains surgical technology certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the operative procedure as part of the surgical team.
• Maintains aseptic technique and correct counts of instruments, needles and sponges.
• Prepares the OR by arranging instruments and supplies for each case.
• Trains and supports coworkers, and integrates new team members.
• Completes annual age specific accountabilities and other duties as assigned.
