Prisma Health in Greenville is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in care of patients of all ages before, during and after surgical procedures. You will perform scrub duties as a member of the surgical team and help maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include preparing for procedures, assisting intraoperatively, maintaining aseptic technique, and supporting training of new staff. This role reports to the OR department at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Qualifikationen

• Successful completion of a Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologist training.
• No prior experience required.
• Must complete 15 hours annually of ST continuing education.

Aufgaben

• Assist in scrub duties and care for patients undergoing surgery.
• Prepare OR by arranging instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Assist during operative procedures and maintain accurate counts of instruments and sharps.
• Maintain aseptic technique and handle specimens under RN direction.
• Train and mentor new team members and support department goals.
