WSP in Troy, NY is seeking an Early Career Structural Engineer to join our office. You will assist with data collection, site inspections, and basic design tasks for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure, ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will develop documentation, learn project practices, and collaborate with teams under supervision, with potential travel as needed. This role requires a Bachelor’s in Structural or Civil Engineering and up to 1 year of experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering or closely related discipline.
• 0 to 1 year of post-education experience
• Strong research and analytical abilities
• Familiarity with design/build processes and construction laws/codes

Responsabilidades

• Assist with data collection and analysis from sites, surveys, GIS data, and plans
• Support basic professional structural engineering work and inspections
• Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements and safety
• Verify site characteristics and structural soundness under loads and environmental factors
• Produce accurate documentation using drawings, 2D/3D visuals, and logs
