TYLin Buildings in Chicago is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to contribute to the design and analysis of diverse building projects, collaborating with project teams from concept through construction.

You will gain experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood, support drawings and specs, and participate in site visits to document existing conditions while advancing innovative, sustainable design solutions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (with a focus on structures preferred).
• Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
• Passing of E.I.T. exam preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in the execution of commercial, institutional, or residential projects preferred.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure preferred.
• Familiarity with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work with the project team to do the structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems from conceptual and preliminary stages of design through to completion.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Perform field review for projects under construction.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
