Position: Entry Level Structural Engineer

Our firm is seeking an entry-level (0-2 years experience) individual eager to join a growing team of engineers. The candidate should work well in a team and be self-motivated. As an entry-level employee, you will be involved in all phases of the building process, from design development to construction administration. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and future career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hand calculations based on engineering principles and building code requirements.
• Utilize various engineering software packages for computer-aided design.
• Assist in producing project documents for client submissions.
• Attend on-site project meetings and inspections during construction.
• Prepare formal written reports for clients summarizing on-site observations.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis; M.S. preferred but not required.
• E.I.T. (or E.I.) certification.
• Relevant internships and experience with building materials including structural steel, concrete, post-tensioned concrete, wood, and masonry.
• Familiarity with engineering analysis software such as Bentley RAM and ETABS.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
