Quality Life Services operates 10 skilled nursing facilities, as well as a Family Home Health and Hospice, Quality Medical Associates, Quality Pharmacy, and Quality Staffing. Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure accurate general ledger activity.
- Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts, including intercompany transactions, prepaid accounts, fixed assets, and payroll-related accounts.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes and ensure timely completion of financial statements.
- Generate, analyze, and present financial reports to management, identifying variances and trends.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate data and insights.
- Assist with annual audits, cost reports, tax filings, and other external reporting requirements.
- Monitor compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and healthcare regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with operations, payroll, HR, and billing teams to ensure alignment of financial data across multiple service lines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial workflows and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience (healthcare or multi-entity environment preferred).
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices.
- Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Great Plains, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
