Job summary

Clean Energy Services is seeking an entry-level Solar O&M Technician I to support safe operation, inspection, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of commercial and utility-scale solar PV systems in Mansfield, LA. This role assists with PMI, monitoring, and site inspections under supervision of the Lead Technician.

Responsibilities include drone flights, safety reporting, and routine service calls, with travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical safety.
• Ability to read and interpret site drawings, maps, and manuals.
• Proficient with common hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine preventive maintenance inspections and troubleshooting of solar equipment (trackers, PV panels, disconnects, inverters, transformers, DAS/SCADA).
• Support site inspections including security, fencing, and safety-related items.
• Assist with warranty items with EPC/manufacturer.
• Assist with drone flights and documentation/reports (safety, daily, manufacturer, CMMS).
• Respond to scheduled and unscheduled service calls, including nights and weekends.
• Follow safety policies, LOTO, arc flash, fall protection, PPE; adhere to NERC requirements.
