Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks an SMT Operator Level 1 to set up and operate SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens. You will load feeders, verify parts, and perform basic adjustments while maintaining production records.

Responsibilities include running SMT lines, inspecting PCBAs, and maintaining equipment. A High School Diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year SMT experience are required, with adherence to safety and ESD

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
0–1 year SMT operator experience.
Able to read English work instructions.
Familiarity with reading blueprints/diagrams.
Understanding of SMT equipment operation.

Responsibilities

Load machine programs, feeders, and components onto SMT machines for specific jobs.
Run SMT equipment per process sheets (pick-and-place, screen printers, reflow ovens).
Verify components against parts lists and load them accurately into feeders.
Monitor machine operation and make minor adjustments to placement or settings for quality.
Perform visual inspections of PCBAs for defects and ensure quality.
Record production data and maintain logs of machine settings and output.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety and ESD procedures.
Report minor machine malfunctions or production issues to supervisors or maintenance staff.
