Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is seeking a Slot Technician I to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of slot machines, VLTs, and related electronic equipment. The entry-level position requires basic electronics knowledge, hands-on repair skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; electronics/IT coursework a plus.
• 1–2 years electronics repair, tech support or slot maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of slot machine components, troubleshooting techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, and ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on gaming and non-gaming equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools and self-diagnostics to identify and resolve malfunctions.
• Operate shop equipment safely, including hand tools, soldering equipment, and electronic test instruments.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on gaming devices and signage.
• Assist with placement, relocation, and setup of gaming machines and player tracking hardware.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain slot machines and related equipment.
• Maintain repair logs and parts usage; follow internal controls and security procedures.
