Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa seeks a Slot Technician II to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair slot machines, Class II/III devices, and related electronic gaming equipment. You’ll work in the Slot Repair Shop and on the casino floor, applying electronics theory and diagnostic techniques to ensure reliability and guest satisfaction.

This intermediate role requires knowledge of slot networks, machine diagnostics, and compliance with gaming regulations.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Electronics or related field preferred.
Certifications from slot machine manufacturers are a plus.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in slot machine repair or related electronic maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience with machine installations and software updates in a regulated gaming environment.
Knowledge of gaming compliance procedures, TITO systems, and slot accounting interfaces.
Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills with a guest-service focus.
Casino or tribal gaming experience required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair slot machines to the component level.
Apply electronic theory and diagnostic techniques to evaluate and resolve malfunctions.
Assist with installation, relocation, and removal of slot machines and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on slot signage, stands, and player tracking systems.
Operate shop tools and equipment and maintain repair logs.
Support slot network systems and perform basic line repairs.
Assist with programming and repair of progressive displays and digital signage.
Respond to tilts, jams, and guest service needs on the casino floor.
Follow internal controls and gaming regulations related to slot servicing.
Identify and report safety issues to the Slot Supervisor.
